If you want to enjoy the natural view which not really far from Jakarta, you should go to Bogor since there are lot of Curug (waterfall), one of those is Curug Cilember. This waterfall is near by Puncak, and well hidden from the crowded street from Jakarta to Puncak.
Curug is a sundanesse word for waterfall, and ci means river while lember means ear mushroom since you can see lots of mushroom near by the curug.
Early morning we went to Manggarai train station and take the train to Bogor. After arrived Bogor station, we took a public transportation (public car) number 02 Sukasari - Bubulak and stop in Sukasari. Then continue the trip by taking (again) public car Sukasari - Cisarua and stop in Hankam. Unfortunately when we arrived Hankam, it was raining heavily then we should take an ojek (motorbike taxi) to Curug Cilember. Finally after the long journey we arrived Curug Cilember, where you can see the sign :)
The entrance fee is IDR12.000, but they charged differently if you want to stay (camping) in this area. There are 7 waterfalls in Curug Cilember, the closest to the entrance gate are the seventh and sixth.
The waterfall is so beautiful, there is a myth said that if you wash your face or take a bath in this waterfall will give you eternal youth. Believe or not, we wash our face in this waterfall for fun :)
We continue the trip to other waterfall, and it is difficult since we walk during the rain. The next waterfall is the fifth. And you can find a small shop (warung) there. To recharge our energy we stop there and buy some food.

The public facilities in this area quiet complete, since you can find a prayer place (mushola) and toilet.
From curug cilember to the main road we take a walk, a bit far but that's okay for us.
